Important Information from Luisa White Law Regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus

On Behalf of | Mar 17, 2020 | Firm News

Dear Client,

To ensure the health and well being of our clients and staff, as of 3/12/20, Luisa White Law will no longer accept in-person payments and will conduct ALL meetings via telephone or other remote means for the next 30 days. While Luisa White Law prides itself in making ourselves available to clients in-person and fostering a personal and friendly relationship, we unfortunately have to be very mindful of our clients health as well as our own.

Payments can be made through our website’s payment section or by mail to 300 Main St., Ste. 221, Lafayette, IN 47901. If you have paperwork to drop off or would prefer to drop off payments in-person, please use the mail slot in our doors or slide documents under our door. (Note: If you drop off a cash payment, please include your name and the amount you are dropping off.) We will confirm receipts of cash payments through email in lieu of a receipt, so please be sure we have an email address on file. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email our office. We appreciate your cooperation.

The courts have been addressing this crisis by implementing restricted means to conduct business. For the foreseeable future most hearings will be conducted by phone and continued into the summer time. You can check the status of your case by going to mycase.in.gov and typing your name and the county your case is in. You may also contact our office.

If you are immunocompromised, at risk of becoming severely ill by this virus, experiencing flu or flu-like symptoms, and/or had exposure to anyone who has or may have COVID-19 virus (also called “novel coronavirus”), please notify me immediately so that I can make arrangements.

If you have any questions regarding this notice, please do not hesitate to call or email our office. We are still available to discuss your matter and otherwise by phone, email and text message.

Stay healthy!

Luisa White
